H.E. Mr. David R. Boyd, Special Rapporteur on human rights and the environment sent an official letter dated 21 October 2020, to H.E.  Mr. Ali Khaflan Al-Mansouri Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary at the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, praising the good practice exemplified by the Qatari Government in addressing the global environmental crisis and in promoting the right to a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment as a fundemental human right to be enjoyed by everyone everywhere.
