His Excellency Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Belgrade, extended his congratulations on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, celebrated on 15 February. It reads as follows:

 

       On the anniversary of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, I extend to the Governement and friendly people of the Republic of Serbia, on behalf of the Governemnt and people of the State of Qatar, our warm greetings  and felicitations, coupled with our wishes for further prosperity and progress for the Serbian people as well as more enhancement of the bilateral relations between our two countries in the years to come.

       I take this opportunity to commend Serbia's economic growth and its responsible and sympathetic stance in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as its success in implementing vaccination on a large scale.

The translation into Serbian language is as follows:

        Povodom Dana Državnosti Republike Srbije, u svoje ime i u ime Vlade i naroda Države Katar , upućujem Vladi i narodu prijateljske Republike Srbije, najsrdačnije čestitke i želje za napredak i prosperitet, u nadi da ćemo unaprediti bilateralne odnose između naše dve zemlje u godinama koji su pred nama.

        Koristim ovu priliku da pohvalim ekonomski napredak Srbije, odgovoran, solidaran i izuzetan odnos prema pandemiji koronavirusa, kao i sam proces imunizacije.
