Belgrade / October 26-27, 2018 / Qatar's Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al-Thani attended the inagural conference of the Euro-Asian Energy Security Forum held on October 26-27, 2018 at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade.

The conference was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Hercegovina, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources and Irrigation of Nepal, the Minister of Environment and Energy of Greece, as well as a large number of government officials from various Asian and European countries, as well as Members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Republic of Serbia, various scholars and experts. 

H.E. Mr. Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic od Serbia, as well as H.E. Mr. Aleksander Antic, Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia addressed the the conference, focusing on the importance of cooperation on all levels in the field of energy security, and noting that the large participation at the conference is proof that energy security is a key geopolitical issue.
