Belgrade / October 30-31, 2018 / H.E. Mr. Rasim Ljajic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia met with a delegation from the State of Qatar, headed by H.E. Mr. Tariq Ali Faraj Al-Anasari - Director of the Directorate for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, with the participation of Qatar's Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al-Thani.

During the visit the delegation held meetings with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, the City of Belgrade, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Mladen Sarcevic, Minister of Education, Sciences and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia. The delegation also took part in a round-table discussion organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic od Serbia and attended by a large number of leading Serbian companiesm in order to discuss the possiblities of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperations in vital fields such as the energy, food safety, social development, civil aviation, tourism and trade.
